Got a call from some robo telling me I owe taxes and that I'd be arrested if I didn't ring this number. Total scam for sure, especially since I'm on disability benefits and don't even pay tax.

I had a call about taxes but the line was really poor. What I did catch though was something about the 19 and them somehow suggesting I was involved in a crime. Bit odd and quite unsettling really.

Got a voicemail saying I hadn't paid my tax and to call 0118 3702714 or face more consequences. Thing is, I’m up to date with all my tax stuff and everything’s sorted with the paperwork. Pretty sure this is a mistake or some kind of scam.

I’ve just received a call from this number, and I’m rather astounded. If they’re aware of where to draw the line, why on earth aren’t they taking action to halt this kind of scam? It’s absolutely shocking, especially considering how vulnerable our older generation can be to such deceit!
