Received a call from an unfamiliar number. Initially, there was just silence on the line, but then I could hear the faint buzz of a call centre in the background before they abruptly ended the call. I suspect this might be an attempt at scamming us, especially since we’re already on the Telephone Preference Service list.

I answered the call, yet there was silence on the other end. After a moment of confusion, I decided to hang up and sever the connection.
