I got a call from 0118 2180148 and when I asked, the woman claimed she was from a company called Claim Through Us Ltd. She said I was due a £35,000 refund from the UK government. The company number they gave was 05512501. Although their website says they’re based in London, the call itself came from Reading, which made me a bit suspicious. After checking around on social media, I found loads of people saying it might be a scam, so now I’m left wondering if it’s legit or not.

I got a voicemail saying that someone took £900 off my credit card and to press 1 to stop it. Definitely sounds like a scam to me, so watch out!
