Got myself a fresh number and a new phone hoping it would put an end to all the rubbish calls. That's why I haven't transferred my old number over yet. Honestly, leave me alone, I’m not interested in any of your unwanted spam or cold calls.

So this firm seems to ring up fresh phone numbers as soon as they're up and running, probably using some auto dialler that keeps pinging until someone picks up. Then they try to sell you insurance for your new phone.

Got to say, the bloke who called me was quite courteous, but honestly, making the most out of newly activated numbers feels a bit dodgy to me. It's like the telemarketer version of those lawyers who chase after accident victims...
