Got a call earlier from someone with a really thick accent saying they were from O2 and could give me 20% off. Definitely sounded dodgy, probably a scam.

Had another dodgy call today, number four this week! The caller had a strong Indian accent and said they were ringing about a fix on my phone line, claiming I was owed money because my service had been poor. Funny thing is, I did have some work done on my line recently, but it was OpenReach who sorted it, not O2. As far as I know, O2 don’t even handle landlines, so it was definitely a con.
