Today, I got a call from that number, and the chap on the line went by the name of Alvin Williams, claiming to be from Microsoft. He was offering to rectify some supposed issues on my computer. His accent suggested he was Asian, and it was blatantly obvious that it was a scam. Just a heads up, everyone!

We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, meaning we shouldn't be getting these unwanted calls. I'll be reporting everything to the TPS shortly.

I received a call from an Asian gentleman who identified himself as Michael Kent, insisting he was representing Microsoft. He claimed that my computer had been compromised and urged me to log in. I quickly interrupted him, demanding his name and contact number. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck tracing the number he provided. It's quite clear this was a scam attempt.
