Sounds like it could be a scam to me.

Someone rang saying I’d apparently enrolled in some side job thing. I told them I definitely hadn’t. They got quite pushy after that, so I just hung up.

The lady on the phone seemed quite hurried and kept pressing me to say my age, checking if I was between 50 and 80. She asked about my loft insulation, telling me that wool or wired wool wasn't any good anymore and that I might qualify for free loft insulation using some different material. When I asked if she was working for the council, she said no and claimed her group was called "Option UK". I told her I didn’t know them and then she just ended the call abruptly. Felt like she was trying to target old or vulnerable folks. The caller said her name was Michelle.
