It was a British accent but I couldn’t really place it. They asked if there was a bloke by a certain name, I told them they’d got the wrong number. Then they mentioned a Mr and Mrs xox, which I found odd. So I just ended the call.

I picked up the phone and it turned out to be another lottery call, which I’m honestly fed up with. When I told them I’d had quite a few already and it was getting a bit much, the person on the other end was surprisingly polite. I guess it’s only a matter of time before they ring again.

I got roped into one of those lottery pool scams, you know? Thought it was legit, but turned out to be a total con. Wish I’d been more careful before getting involved.
