Don't just lash out, yell at them about the number of calls, or simply hang up - doing that will make them note that you cut the call off abruptly. What you really need to say is: “Please put me on your DO NOT CALL list and ensure my number is removed. If I get any more calls from your company, I will have to report you to the ICO here in the UK.” But always remember to be gracious and understanding... try to picture the person on the line as if they were your own child.
