Received a call today from someone inquiring about Miss (our surname). They mentioned they'd be in touch again, but I can't shake the feeling that this might be one of those dodgy scams.

I received a rather confrontational phone call. The caller seemed to have knowledge about an incident I was part of, and when I mentioned that the matter had already been resolved, the individual continued with a rather hostile attitude. After I asked them to ease off, they abruptly terminated the call. I attempted to ring the number again, but it just kept ringing out engaged.

I received a call from a so-called Motor Investigation Department, asking me to verify my identity as they mentioned I’d been involved in an accident. When I inquired about their affiliation and the purpose of their call, the person abruptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
