For quite some time now, I’ve been inundated with nuisance calls from a variety of numbers, and I can’t shake the feeling that it’s the same person or group orchestrating this irritating spree. Every time I manage to block one number, it’s like clockwork-another pops up shortly after. This particular number is just one in a long line of offenders. Interestingly, in perusing reviews for some of the other numbers that have hounded me, I've noticed mentions of Carphone Warehouse and discounts from O2. It’s all rather peculiar, isn’t it?

Got a couple of calls from 02 saying I could get a discount if I just opened this text and clicked the link they sent me. I just hung up and then they kept ringing me back like 7 times! Proper annoying.

The background noise was absolutely chaotic, and the person on the other end was rambling away at such a speed that I simply couldn't catch a word. When I mentioned my difficulty, she promptly hung up. She appeared to be discussing Thornhill phones or something related? Regardless, her message was utterly lost on me, which turned the call into a rather annoying experience-definitely unsolicited, to say the least.

Got a call from 02 with the number 0118 311 1029 trying to sell a £7 sim deal with unlimited calls, texts and data. They wanted me to wait on the line and read a message back to them after they sent it via text. The way they rushed me felt dodgy, so I just hung up. The line was full of background noise and I could barely catch what was being said. A couple of days ago, the same kind of call came through from 0118 311 1041 and 0118 311 1031.

I received a rather peculiar call from '0118 311 1029, Reading, England'. The connection took ages, and when a woman with a pronounced Indian accent finally came through, she introduced herself as Kate Williams from Phone Warehouse. She inquired about the type of phone I owned and specifically if it was an iPhone. Naturally, my curiosity got the better of me and I questioned her about her identity and the purpose of her call. It all felt a bit fishy, to be honest. She seemed to be pushing for a free phone upgrade, which didn't sit right with me. When I promptly declined the offer, she pressed, asking, 'Do you want this deal or not?' to which I firmly responded 'No’. Then came the follow-up question, 'Why not?' which I found quite audacious. My reason was simple: I don't trust it, and I pointed out that there didn't seem to be any legitimate company by that name. Her reply was to suggest I look it up-what a farce! I’d had enough of the nonsense, so I ended the call rather swiftly.
