Got a recorded call from a woman with an American accent saying Amazon’s about to charge me £39.99! She told me to press 1 to stop the payment. Didn’t push any buttons though, felt fishy. Plus, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account! Definitely dodgy.

I just got a call with an automated voice saying my Amazon Prime subscription is about to auto-renew and £79 will be taken from my account. It said to press 1 to talk to someone, but I just ended the call since I don’t even have Amazon Prime. Is this some kind of scam or something?
