Got a call around lunch from someone claiming to be ‘Sky’ trying to lower my daughter’s bill - yeah, right! They asked for her email to send some offer, but my daughter mentioned Sky already has her email. The woman sounded like she had a strong Indian accent and it was tricky to understand her, but she kept pushing for personal details. I happened to walk into the room and warned my daughter straight away that it was a scam. Bit frustrating because Sky had contacted us for a genuine reason when we had a power outage recently, so you can’t just trust anyone calling these days.
