Got a call from a number in Reading but i don't know anyone from there. When I picked up, some guy with a foreign accent was asking for me. They had my first name right but totally messed up my last name. I told him he had the wrong person and then I ended the call.

On the 24th of October, I received a call from someone inquiring about a particular individual. Upon informing them that they'd dialled the wrong number, they surprisingly suggested that I was trying to play a prank on them. The caller had quite a pronounced Indian accent too.

They somehow managed to mention my name and insisted that I was drowning in debts, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

I got a call from this number (0118 230 6069), but as soon as I picked up, the line went dead. When I attempted to ring them back, I was met with a message stating 'the number you have dialled is not recognised.' Quite puzzling!

Received a call earlier today claiming to be from the council’s quality control team. When I inquired about which council, they mentioned Bournemouth. However, that's a bit dodgy since Bournemouth isn't an independent council anymore; it should really be BCP Council if they were on the level. Plus, why on earth would they be ringing from Reading? Quite suspect, if you ask me!

I just let it ring since I’ve no mates or family in Reading. If it mattered, surely they’d have left a message, but nothing came through so I’ll just block the number.

I've had a right bother with some dodgy calls about council tax. Best to just ignore them and put them on your blocked list!

Received a call from this number, but when I tried ringing it back, I got a message saying it was an invalid number. Sounds suspiciously like a scam to me.
