Got three calls from some insulation installers claiming they are working nearby. I tried telling them we’d already been called twice before but the lady just kept going on and on. Ended up blocking the number.

I got a call from someone saying the British Lung Foundation had said a certain loft insulation was harmful. Turns out, that’s rubbish - if you look up ‘British Lung Foundation loft insulation scams’ you’ll find it’s just not true.

I got a call from someone saying my roof insulation was dangerous and crumbly, and asked if I wanted them to come and do an inspection. It was total nonsense, so I reckon this is a dodgy scam aimed at getting inside people’s houses, probably targeting those who might be more vulnerable. The police really ought to look into this before it turns into something worse.
