Didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar and every time my voicemail started, the call ended immediately. From what others are saying, it doesn’t seem legit. And I ask if they reckon their parents could be proud of them at all. Funny thing is, they never seem keen to chat after that…

It’s so annoying getting nonstop calls from scammers trying to push all sorts of fake products and services. Honestly, most of the calls I get on my home phone are scams now, it’s completely out of control. When will phone companies actually do something about this and put a stop to it? It’s just ridiculous! I wish there was a simple way to report these numbers straight from your phone - like pressing 9 or something - and then the providers could pass that info on to the police or other authorities. That way, proper investigations could happen and criminals would actually face charges. If these scam operations got fined heavily, they might think twice before bothering anyone else. Does anyone know how we could get something like that going? Anyway, be safe everyone!

No sound at first. Then they ring up just to SCAM you. I reckon they wanna check if your number's live, then they'll start trying to sell stuff or offer some dodgy service.
There's gotta be some way to put an end to this. When does it cross the line into harassment anyway? Feels like it already does...
