Got a call from someone named Max claiming to be from 3 network, saying there was a 40% off deal on new phones and SIM plans. He kept asking if I wanted to upgrade my contract, but I told him I wasn’t even with 3, so upgrading made no sense. Then he asked about my current phone, and I said that was private. You could tell he wasn’t pleased. His voice had a strong accent, and there was loads of background noise - plus, the chat felt like it was lagging, like a delay in the line or something.

I got a call from some obviously dodgy number, and straight away the person on the other end asked who I was. I told them if they’re the one calling me, they should already know who I am. Right after that, they just hung up. I could hear loads of noise and people talking in the background, so it was pretty clear it was some kind of scam. I’ve blocked the number now to stop it happening again.
