Got a missed call from this number and decided to ring back. A really courteous chap answered and already knew my name. He mentioned it was about some mis-sold car finance issue, saying if I’d bought a car on finance around 2007, I might be entitled to a claim. Can't quite remember the company name, but it was something like 'Collier' and the number had an 0118 Reading, Berkshire code.
