Received a call supposedly from Vodafone, where they tried to entice me with an offer for a new iPhone. However, I had a strong suspicion that this was just a ploy to extract my personal details. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Got two calls today from someone saying they were from Vodafone offering a big discount on the latest iPhone. When they asked for my name, I told them if they were really from Vodafone they’d already have my info. They then started swearing at me and just hung up. Their English was really poor and hard to follow. The first time they said they were James, then less than 10 minutes later a different guy called Alex before swearing and ending the call. Proper shady.
