That number 01182117438 called me and I could tell right away it was a scam. I ended up blocking them straight away. Definitely a scammer, stay clear!

When I answered the call, there was an eerie silence. Then the caller muttered a few indistinct phrases before abruptly ending the call. It had that vague feel of a call centre situated overseas.

There was silence at first when I answered, then suddenly a weird, muffled voice came through and the line just dropped. It definitely seemed like one of those spam calls from some dodgy overseas call centre, probably using a fake UK landline number. I’ve got no mates or connections in Reading anyway.
