I answered the phone and was suddenly met with loud static before the line just dropped out.

Some bloke rang claiming to be from Sky Equipment Insurance, saying my TV gear insurance - taken out a year back - was about to run out and needed renewing. I asked which telly he meant, and he suddenly got really rude, accusing me of being impolite and wouldn't tell me any details (he obviously couldn’t - I don’t have any policy with them, nor do I even have Sky TV). Then he just cut me off. Blocked him straight away.
