I picked up and heard nothing, then the caller just hung up right away. Total silent call.

Got a call on my landline here in Nottingham, which is weird since we never actually use it. The bloke who answered sounded like he had a strong foreign accent and said he was ringing from British Telecom about my internet. I asked him to repeat himself and to say which company he was actually from. Then he claimed I was one of their customers. When I pressed him on how long I’d been with them, the call just cut off. Definitely a dodgy call.

Got a phone call earlier from a woman with a Chinese accent, saying she was from the BT Openreach tech team. I just told her to piss off and hung up. Fingers crossed she doesn’t ring back.

This bloke said his name was Jack and claimed he was ringing from BT Openreach. He mentioned something about warning messages showing up online. I ended the call straight away and have blocked the number now.
