According to the listing, this number belongs to "DC Welding" over at Totterdown Bridge Industrial Estate in Bristol, but when I tried calling, the line just wouldn't go through. I dropped off some welding work with them last Thursday - quite the trek, about 100 miles there and back - and now I’m left wondering if I’ll see it again.

Watch out, this is definitely a con. DC Welding has actually changed their phone number, and you can see it clearly on their official site. The calls you’re getting are from someone pretending to be them, using their old number to trick people.

This number kept ringing me a few times and I picked up because it looked like a local small biz. Turns out it was some man who wanted to send a report to my work email. He said he got my number from one of my co-workers, but that’s rubbish since I just started the job and haven’t even met that person yet, plus he was ringing my personal phone! I called him out on it, and he promised he wouldn’t bother me again, but then he rang me three more times, probably after he found out I gave him a fake email address!
