Got a call from some "tech support" folks claiming to help me out. Asked them where they were based and they were clueless. Then I tried to get my own name from them, and surprise, no answer either. Even asked where their phone number was from and yep, nothing again. Sounds like someone's just trying to scam me and run off from India with my cash. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Received a call from a number based in Bristol around half past midnight. It was a young lady speaking with a distinctive accent, asserting she was representing Openreach. When I mentioned that we had an Openreach technician on-site, she promptly hung up. It reeked of a scam. Surely there’s a way to prevent these calls - it's a local UK number after all!
