So, someone rang me saying they were from Sky broadband and that I’d been picked for some promo deal. Thing is, I’m already with Sky - and honestly, I doubt they’d hand out special offers to a teenager who doesn’t even handle the bills…

I got a call from someone pretending to be from Openreach, but it definitely smelt like a scam. They told me my internet speed was slower than it should be.

The number showed up as if it was an overseas call on my phone, even though it looked legit. The woman claimed to be from BT Openreach but I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a number in Bristol, UK - turned out to be some scam artist named Robbo. Honestly, they must imagine we’re all daft or something. Sorted it quickly by blocking their number.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BT. We don’t even use BT, so I just hung up straight away. When I tried calling the number back, it didn’t come up on my phone. Sounds like one of those usual scam attempts. Funny enough, my neighbour got almost the same call just before me, from a number that looked pretty much the same.

The caller claimed to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet. I told them that our internet's fine and that we don’t even use BT as our provider.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach. They said they wanted to help with my slow internet. Then they asked me to open stuff on my phone or laptop so they could guide me through finding the problem. I just hung up straight away - there's no way I was letting a stranger get access to my devices.
