Got a call earlier, didn’t pick up and it went to voicemail. They left a message about some international money transfer nonsense, telling me to press 1. I think it’s the same lot that called me this morning from 01189713742 but with a different number now. That original number was flagged here as possible bank scam, so I’m guessing it’s the same scammer messing about.

So this number rang me but I couldn't pick up quick enough. Since I know some folks in Bristol, I figured I'd give it a ring back, not even bothering to check the full digits properly. To my surprise, a younger woman answered and just laughed, telling me I’d actually called her all the way in Spain. Just a heads up to be careful!

I got a call telling me that my internet was involved in some kind of illegal stuff, but I didn’t really bother to hear the rest.

Some guy was like “hello, I’m from Microsoft…” so I just hung up. Total scam obvious as hell.
