I had a chap on the line claiming he was from BT, discussing issues with my internet connection.

I picked up the number 01179570808 and waited for whoever was on the other end to start speaking first. After a few seconds of silence, they just cut the call. Instead of hanging up straight away, I keep the line open as it seems to block their system somehow. I usually leave it connected for around ten minutes. About three minutes in, you get this weird buzzing sound, but it fades after a bit. It's a small way to annoy those pesky unwanted callers. Honestly, more folks should give this a go to help keep these annoying calls at bay.
