Got a call earlier today from someone named Steven on 07803813675, said he was from a finance company. He sounded like he was calling from near Bombay but I could barely make out what he was saying before the call dropped. Just saw a missed call from the same number now, no way I’m answering again. Blocked!

I think this number is a scam, they seem to be using BT's cloud phone system to cover up their actual line from some call centre. It's odd that BT would make money off selling tech that helps scammers do their thing. Definitely add this number to your phone's block list!

I’m not sure why they rang me, but I’m glad I looked them up on here. I tried calling them back, but it wouldn’t go through.

got a call from someone with an asian accent, said it was about my computer and asked if i owned it. when i asked which company he was from, he just hung up on me.

A bloke with a really strong Asian accent called me, saying something like “laniel from Microsoft” and telling me where to go and to put my phone down. I just told him straight away:

somebody called me saying they were from microsoft about my computer, but when i told them i didn't own one, they froze up! i ended up just hanging up. pretty sure it was one of those scams trying to get in and steal your personal info.

The call showed up with the Bristol 0117 code, so I picked up thinking it might be related to my upcoming radiotherapy appointment there. But as soon as I said hello, the line just went silent. Feeling a bit worried, I tried to call back using 1471 option 3 to check the number, but it came up as unreachable. Clearly, it was just another nuisance spam call, which was quite frustrating.
