Heads up, got calls from that number and a bunch more saying they were from BT support. I messsed with them a bit for fun, but when it got boring I asked them who my actual service provider was. Nearly all the calls just cut off straight away, except one bloke who started listing every provider under the sun. I couldn't stop laughing and then ended the call. Total scam, so watch out!

Like the others said, this guy with an Asian accent called, saying he was from British Telecom technical support or something along those lines. He tried to sound interested, asking "how are you today". I snapped back saying I was fine until he disturbed me, then he just hung up on me.

Got a call around 9.40 this morning, was upstairs so took ages to pick up. As soon as I said something, they just cut off. The voice sounded Asian and they claimed my computer had security problems. I told them it’s a scam straight away, then they ended the call. Seen loads of calls like this from different numbers recently.

Got two random calls today. I missed this one from that number, but earlier someone else called saying he was from BT - some bloke with an Asian accent who called himself Steve (yeah, right). I guess it's their second try or something. Just like what the last person said, as soon as I told him I’m not a BT customer, Steve just ended the call. What a load of scam artists!

Got a call from this Bristol code number earlier today. When I didn't answer and the voicemail kicked in, they just hung up right away. I looked up the number here since I know folks in Bristol and it's really helpful info. Definitely not going to call back. Cheers!

Answered the phone but they ended the call straight away. Tried ringing them back and no idea who it was, number didn’t look familiar at all.

Today, I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent who claimed to be from BT. She told me that someone was messing with my internet and said they could block the IP addresses straight from their system. She insisted it was a free fix because I’m supposedly a BT customer. The moment I told her I don’t have BT, she just ended the call. Really sketchy stuff - watch out out there. When I tried to call the number back, it just wouldn’t go through.

Never trust those folks - a man and a woman from Asia saying they're calling from BT. They’ll try to convince you to install some software, which lets them get into your computer from anywhere. Honestly, it’s really risky, so just don’t fall for it!

Avoid sharing any info about your computer if this number calls you. The people on the line are an Asian bloke and lady pretending to work for BT. They'll try to trick you into downloading some dodgy software that can take over your computer. If you do end up installing it, make sure to delete it straight away and change every password you use.

So I got this call from an Indian tech guy trying to walk me through fixing my PC. I told him hold on a sec, then started blowing a dog whistle right next to the phone. After that, I told him it’s his fault my computer’s now howling like crazy. He kept trying for a bit but gave up after about 10 minutes. I’m curious why he didn’t push back?

Today I got a call from this number claiming to be BT, telling me there were suspicious IP addresses linked to my computer. They wanted remote access, but I asked for some proof they were actually from BT. The guy rattled off a long security code and told me I could verify it on my PC. I wasn’t having any of it and said I’d ring BT myself to confirm. Turns out, it’s definitely a scam, so don’t let them in!

Had a call from this number, but when I picked up, there was just silence on the other end. Feels like some kind of scam to me.
