Some bloke claimed to be from BT Openreach's tech support, saying my router was messing up the local network. He asked about the lights on my router and the error messages popping up on my laptop. Then he wanted me to install software so he could “take a closer look.” I played along for a bit, got the download going, but soon told him I knew exactly what he was up to. He hung up after telling me to have a good day. Be careful if you get a call from this number!

today we've already been bothered by 3 annoying calls. the latest one had noises of someone talking in the background, but no one actually said anything. the call showed up from this number. that one could’ve been an honest error. however, the first two definitely weren’t. honestly, the government should step in and do something. they have the means to track these callers down.
