Today I got called twice by UK Preferences. One call came from this number, and the other was from 01383737343. I've gone ahead and blocked both of them now.

They called me asking about my late grandma, I think it was some kind of scam. Really felt off and suspicious.

Some bloke rang me up and knew my name and where I live, then wanted me to confirm it. When I asked who he was, he said he was from "UK Preferences," some sort of marketing outfit doing surveys for big UK brands. Claimed he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. Honestly, I reckon he was just after info to flog alongside my details. Once I told him I never deal with marketing firms and wasn’t planning to start, he just dropped the call.
