Today, I received a couple of calls from UK Preferences. One call came from this number, while the other was linked to 01383737343. I've now made sure to block both of them.

I received a phone call from someone who seemed to know my name and address. They were rather persistent in seeking confirmation of these details. When I pressed them, they stated they were calling from "UK Preferences", a marketing outfit supposedly conducting surveys for various prominent UK businesses. They reassured me that they weren't trying to peddle anything, but I can't shake the feeling that they were more interested in my personal info to sell on later. I promptly told them I had no dealings with marketing firms and had no desire to engage in any such conversations moving forward. The call ended right after that, thankfully!
