I got a call first thing today and answered straight away, still half asleep. The guy on the other end had a thick accent, maybe Asian, and kept mumbling his name and company. I asked him to say it again a couple of times but just couldn’t catch it. He then said something about a mortgage enquiry I'd supposedly made. I told him I wasn’t interested in any mortgage, though he insisted I’d made some sort of inquiry. I firmly said no, I hadn’t, and he just said alright then, goodbye.
