I received a call from a dodgy number claiming to be from Bristol, and it was just a robotic voice blathering on about some 'suspicious activity' on my bank account. It urged me to press 1 to prevent any issues. Whatever you do, steer clear of that! Your actual bank would never reach out in such a manner. If you hit 1, you're probably just falling into the trap set by these scammers. Would you believe it, just half an hour prior, I got the same type of message from a spoofed London number beginning with 020. Something definitely smells fishy!
