Got a call from 01179438629 today, so I looked it up here. Loads of people saying it’s a scam. Honestly, I have no idea how they managed to get hold of my phone number. I’m pretty careful and never share my digits with anyone, plus I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know or haven’t asked for. Pretty annoying!

Got a missed call from 01179438629 on my mobile earlier. The code looks like it's from Bristol which I know, but the number itself is unfamiliar to me. No voicemail or message was left. So far, they haven’t tried ringing our home phone either.
