I received a rather unexpected call from a number claiming to be the Bank of Ireland, supposedly regarding post office accounts. I’m a bit suspicious, as I don’t actually hold an account with them. Just doesn’t seem quite right, does it?

I didn't pick up, but they did leave a voicemail. It was from the post office about my current account. They're shutting all current accounts down, so honestly, they can jog on. Why should I bother giving them any attention when they're just causing me hassle? Just adds to the reasons why the post office is struggling big time.

Got a missed call from this number and a voicemail saying it was from the post office. I guess it might be legit since they’re trying to close an account I have with them. Still, I’m not planning on picking up if they call again.

I told the post office accounts that it wasn’t a good time for me.
