My phone showed 01179424833 calling me at about 8.45 in the morning, saying they were from BT and threatening to cut off my internet due to some illegal activity. There was loads of noise in the background, like a really hectic office! Since we’re in lockdown, I doubt it was a proper UK call. The person couldn’t even understand me when I asked them to repeat themselves, so I just ended the call. Later that day, at 12.55 pm, another call came from 01590714 367 with the same story. Then again at 3.31 pm, I got a call from 01372 730884, and they kept asking me to speak up louder. Every call had that same busy office noise in the background. Very suspicious all-round!
