Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from some telephone refund team, saying I’d overpaid £202 on my bill. Funny how it’s always that exact number, innit? She insisted it was from BT, but when I told her I’m not even a BT customer, she kept pushing to get my info. So, I gave her my ex-husband’s birthday and made up a wrong bank name just to mess with her. Didn’t give out any card details, obviously, and after a while she gave up. Really relentless and annoying, even though I kept saying it was a scam.
