Got a call from someone saying they were calling from VISA HQ in London about a £900 fraud on my card with Amazon. They couldn’t specify which bank issued my card because they wanted me to link my Wi-Fi to some VISA server, which sounded totally fishy. When I asked for the actual card number to verify, they just gave up and hung up. Classic phishing attempt throwing out buzzwords like VISA, BANK, AMAZON, FRAUD and Wi-Fi. Tried calling the Bristol number back, but no answer. Looks like a real phone number but definitely not connected to any bank or London office!
