Received a rather odd call from this number earlier on. They claimed to be SSE but seemed to have completely incorrect details about my address. Then they proceeded to ask for rather personal information like my date of birth, when I moved, my email address, and even wanted to set up a direct debit! I couldn't help but question why they couldn't access my email or any of the other details they were after on their system. I decided to cut the conversation short, as I had my doubts about the legitimacy of the caller, despite them being quite courteous. Just a heads up for everyone-be cautious about the info you share!

Received a call from someone claiming to be with SSE, requesting my date of birth for "security reasons." I've recently relocated and haven't shared any details with any energy provider. When I pointed this out, she insisted that was correct but claimed she needed the information to prepare my account for future calls. I mentioned seeking energy advice, and her tone turned quite confrontational, implying that they would merely begin sending bills. I chose to terminate the conversation, as I have no evidence to confirm that this interaction was legitimate. Quite concerning conduct, to say the least!
