Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be from Bank Security saying there were two suspicious transactions on my account this morning - one for over £300 and another for more than £1,000, both supposedly connected to Amazon. I hung up right away since I’ve never bought anything from Amazon, plus I've had loads of scam calls like this before. What caught me off guard though was that the number had the same area code as where I live. I’m still going to notify my Barclays bank just to be safe.
