No one said a word on the other end, just silence when I answered. Quite strange.

I answered the call but they just hung up. When I tried ringing back, it said “number not in service.” Seems dodgy since they were the ones who rang me in the first place!

Loads of calls keep coming from someone claiming they’re with TalkTalk, but I’ve never been a customer and wouldn’t be caught dead using them, even if they offered me money. Had about 9 engineers from them knock on my door over nearly 3 months, yet still no connection sorted. Told them off and said I never wanted to hear from TalkTalk again. That was a few years back now.
