5 yearsReceived a ring from these timewasters, but I chose not to pick up after seeing all your remarks. Much appreciated to everyone who shared their experiences!5 yearsMy phone rang but I didn’t pick up. After a quick look on here, I’m blocking the number. Loads of others seem fed up with calls from them.5 yearsToday I got a call from someone with an Indian accent. He said he could assist me in finding a job and asked about how much I currently earn. I've got one of those call blocking features on my phone meant to stop this kind of thing, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Who are these people anyway, and why is it so hard to block them?5 yearsHas been ringing non-stop so I’ve put the number on block now.5 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be with Lifestyle Choices, asking loads of personal stuff like what kind of washing machine I’ve got, who supplies our broadband, and my age. They already had my names and address though. Said it’d be just a quick 30 seconds. First time I just hung up straight away. The second time I told some lies on all the questions because it felt a bit dodgy and I wanted to see what they were up to. Not really sure what their game was.Lifestyle Choices5 yearsI had an encounter with this individual who insisted on verifying my identity and location. They then inquired about my age range, but upon my refusal to disclose that information, they resorted to some quite foul language directed towards me.5 yearsI received a rather peculiar phone call earlier today. The person on the line not only recited my address, complete with postcode, but had the audacity to ask me three questions. The first one inquired whether I owned my home, rented, or had a different arrangement altogether. When I pressed them for the reasoning behind these questions, they mentioned something vague about assisting with potential future purchases. I asked for clarification, but their response came out so fast I couldn’t catch a word of it. They repeated the question, and when I expressed my discomfort in answering and requested to be removed from their call list, their tone took a turn for the worse. They snapped back with, "Well, why are you wasting my time, you f***ing waste of space?" and promptly hung up on me. The caller had quite a pronounced Indian accent, and the number was supposedly from the Bristol area. Quite a distressing experience!Bristol5 yearsI received yet another call today, which is turning into quite the saga. They posed three identical questions, just like they did last week! This time, they were keen on getting me to switch my energy supplier. I had already mentioned last week, quite politely, that I’m perfectly content with my current provider and requested to be removed from their calling list. Lo and behold, I got the same caller again, so I reiterated my wish to be taken off. It seems they couldn't care less about what I say; they’re reading from a script and are determined to stick to it. To make matters worse, they keep ringing from slightly altered phone numbers, despite my blocking them previously!5 yearsRang me thrice within the space of an hour! They disconnected on two occasions, and the third call was nothing but this unbearable, piercing noise. I couldn't take it anymore, so I severed the line and blocked the number. Honestly, I'm bombarded daily by these sorts of calls, and no matter how many I block, they keep popping up again like unwanted weeds! It's downright relentless!Submit Your Own Report (0117 924 8889)
