They ring like clockwork every day from a Bristol number. Seems like some telemarketing scam or phishing attempt. I stopped picking up after the first call and have now blocked and reported them as spam.

Some bloke rang me up saying he was from my home insurance firm. He seemed to know my policy was about to run out and pushed me to renew it right then and there over the phone. But when I asked him to send the new quote via email instead, I never got anything in my inbox, which was a bit odd.

For the last few hours I've been getting loads of missed calls from the same number, starting about half past seven this morning. No voicemail or anything left behind, so I put the number on block. Even now, I keep getting alerts about their calls, but thankfully my phone doesn’t let them through anymore after blocking.

Just as I’m typing this, they've called again!! Seriously, just leave me alone

I'm stuck with Skippy for my car insurance at the moment, but once my policy ends, I'm definitely switching. Took me over an hour just to get through to customer service to update my address, and they said it was due to a high volume of calls. That’s absolutely mad! What if there was an emergency? Plus, it's not even a freephone number, which just makes it worse. This is the problem with using brokers. I can’t wait to ditch them, even if I have to pay more elsewhere. Skippy’s waiting times are just ridiculous.

They just keep ringing without a break... even when I decline the call, it rings again right away. I'm pretty sure it's those car insurance folks from Go Compare. I even selected the option to not get calls but still get about ten every day. So annoying!
