The phone call sounded professional and straight to the point, but there was this weird pause after I spoke, like it was a pre-recorded message or some voice recognition thing. It threw me off guard, and I ended up chatting for ages and even gave them my name and postcode. Bit daft of me really, since they said they'd ring me back to sort out a loft insulation appointment, but I haven't heard anything since.

Got another call from what I’m sure is a scam. They just ring and hang up, no message left or nothing. Best to keep reporting these numbers and not pick up at all.

This is one of loads of numbers they use. Whenever I block one, another pops up. The bloke’s voice sounds all robotic and stiff, claiming to be either Matthew or Mark. Says he’s from some kind of energy company about our loft insulation. Their system still thinks we’ve got the old kind. I’ve told them over and over that we have bats living up there and we’re in a National Park so we follow their rules. I just told ’em to stick that rubbish back in their so-called ‘database’!
