Pretending to be a helpline for national debt assistance.

I had quite the unpleasant encounter with this chap. He somehow knew my name and had the audacity to insist that I owed him £1500 for some so-called home assistance. Absolutely ghastly behaviour! He was incredibly rude and, to top it all off, a complete liar!

Got a voicemail from someone saying they'd take me off their calling list, but they never said who they were or what they wanted. Pretty strange to just leave that without any details.

Got this weird voicemail from some robot in Spain, something about needing to call back or they’re going to take action against me. I hardly ever use my landline but noticed there were like 6 messages all the same from the last few weeks. They left two different numbers but it’s the same creepy voice on both. I checked the numbers here and they both look like scams. Definitely dodgy.

I got a call from a guy who somehow knew my name right away. He said, "Hello, Mr...., thanks for reaching out." Then he told me I was owed 2000 pounds for some kind of home support. Before I could say much, he just ended the call. Sounded really cheeky and was giggling throughout. Proper rude!
