4 yearsI got a call from this number unexpectedly. My phone showed it was probably a scam, so I just let it go to voicemail. It kept ringing for almost a minute, then they finally hung up.4 yearsWas tied up and couldn't pick up, no time for nonsense!4 yearsSomeone rang claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau. I told them I hadn’t been in touch with CAB before and asked what the call was about. After that, I just ended the call.Citizens Advice4 yearsThey keep ringing non stop!!!4 yearsReceived a dodgy call purporting to help clear my debts. I chatted away with a cheerful gentleman from India about some fictitious debts of mine. He was all too eager to pass me on to another chap, this time an English bloke on an 0800 line. I decided to remain silent, only for the 0800 number to drop me like a hot potato. Meanwhile, the Indian gent was still on the line. Curiously, when I tried to dial back that 0800 number, it turned out to be nonexistent. This is clearly a ruse! Steer clear of providing any authentic information as it won't help you with debt relief; instead, you risk your identity being swiped. It's a complete con!India4 yearsGot a call from a bloke claiming he could sort out my debts. Total con! Don't fall for it.India4 yearsApparently, they flagged a few issues with my internet connection and claimed there was a significant risk that my security could be compromised. They even requested remote access to my computer and a few other bits and bobs. Naturally, I wasn't about to fall for that trick. I’m no mug, especially since I don’t even use BT!4 yearsI had a rather unpleasant encounter with a rather uncouth individual who rang me, purporting to be from BT Openreach, insisting there were some complications with my broadband service. As soon as I pointed out that their ruse was quite obvious, the caller turned hostile. I highly recommend steering clear of such calls!BT Openreach4 yearsThis number said it was BT but when I asked why it wasn’t a BT registered number, they went silent. Pretty sure it was coming from somewhere outside the UK! I was just messing about, trying to catch them out instead of the other way round. 😂BT4 yearsGot a call from this number but I ignored it. Probably some dodgy scammers.4 yearsGot a call on my mobile but didn’t pick up, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either.4 yearshonest company for debt advice4 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be with BT. They were trying to make me believe a couple of things: first, that they were genuinely from BT, and second, that hackers were using my internet to illegally download stuff without getting caught. I wasn’t convinced and asked stuff like "why would they bother using my line when it’s pretty simple to download things anonymously almost anywhere these days?" After I grilled them with a few questions, they just hung up.BT4 yearsI couldn’t find any reviews or feedback about this number anywhere online, so I guess that’s a positive sign.
