I received a phone call from someone who claimed to be with Npower, attempting to persuade me to change my energy supplier. However, I was quite apprehensive about engaging further in the chat, particularly because the caller had a strong foreign accent, which I believe was Asian.

Whenever I get calls from them, it just drops me straight to voicemail, but there’s always music playing which means my messages end up stacking up. It’s really annoying.

I keep gettin calls from this number like 8 or 9 times every day. Sounds like some hectic call centre, probably somewhere in Asia. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

I’ve set my answerphone to pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise but this lot do something weird that keeps my phone busy. When I get back, there’s loads of messages, like 3 or 4, all just a long beep tone with no proper message. They never actually say a word. I try blocking them but they just call from different numbers each time. It’s so frustrating.

A few days after I sorted out my contract renewal with npower, I got a random call from some lot saying they were from npower. I rang up npower directly and they told me they knew all about the trouble this lot was causing. Honestly, I’d steer well clear of these people.
