I never really got to hear what the caller wanted. He had an Indian accent and kept arguing when I told him his call was against the rules since I'm registered with the telephone preference service. After a bit of back and forth, he just hung up on me.

Just moments before the caller picks up, I can sense it's one of those calls forwarded from a call centre, despite the fact that the number is local to Bristol. They seem to have my name and know about my business, pushing me to consider changing my card provider. Quite suspicious if you ask me!
