Received a rather unsolicited call from someone named "Paul," who claimed to be inquiring about our washing machine warranty. The thing is, we've never held any such cover, so the notion of renewing it feels a bit off, doesn’t it? I can’t shake the feeling that this might just be a dodgy scam call.

Got another call that was completely silent, no idea what that was about!

Some bloke called Paul rang me up about our washing machine’s warranty being up but I wasn’t buying it. The voice was really odd and something about it felt dodgy, so I just cut it short and didn’t bother chatting more.

I picked up and there was nothing but silence, then they just hung up on me.

I got a call claiming I’d won a prize from Marks and Spencer, but they refused to tell me what it was unless I gave them some of my personal details. I kept pressing for more info, and after a while they just ended the call. Sounds like a proper scam to me. Watch out for this one!

I tried ringing them back but it turns out the number isn’t even real! They just hung up on me first.
