I got a call from 0117 472 1062, the guy sounded either American or Irish, said his name was Brian and claimed we’d chatted before. I just ended the call straight away.

So this person rings me up, right, and just drops my name like we've chatted before. They go, "Don't you remember me? We talked about online trading once." I barely let them finish before I told them to stop.

I've been getting missed calls from this number pretty much every day, sometimes two or three times, but they never say anything when I don't pick up. The calls pop up at all sorts of weird hours - morning, afternoon, even late at night. The earliest one I saw was at 3.45 in the morning, and the latest was just before midnight at 11.57 pm. I’ve never bothered to return the calls.

These crypto traders keep ringing me non stop, like they’re some experts who know everything about me and I gotta send them cash right now. My phone hasn’t stopped buzzing with calls this week, over a hundred times I reckon. I’ve blocked every number they use but somehow they just keep calling from new ones. I’ve told them countless times to show me where they got my info and to stop bothering me, but they just don’t listen at all. Proper annoying!

I've been inundated with incessant calls from a deceptive trading platform, constantly switching up their numbers. It's quite the nuisance!

Some bloke called me Brian Skimmer, said he knew me and reckoned I'd saved his number from a chat we supposedly had a couple of weeks back - which never happened. It was pretty weird how he sounded like he was sure we’d talked before.

Absolutely dreadful and rather malicious individuals. Whenever you inquire about the name of their firm, they refuse to disclose it and persistently ring you in a harassing and belligerent manner. The moment I pick up the phone and hear their voice, I simply hang up. It's quite astonishing that neither the police nor the financial oversight authorities have taken any action against them.

The person on the phone acted like we were old mates or something, like I should recognise him.

He mentioned that over the past month, I had expressed some curiosity about Platform trading. My apologies, but I haven’t pursued it further. Cheers!

I received a rather unpleasant phone call from a gentleman with a thick accent. His tone was shockingly disrespectful and patronising. He claimed to be reaching out regarding some interest I supposedly expressed in trading, which, I assure you, is utterly untrue. The conversation quickly turned quite aggressive, leaving me quite taken aback.

It seems I’ve been contacted about some sort of investment programme I supposedly joined. First, I had to deal with a rather aggressive woman, followed by an equally hostile man. Quite the unpleasant experience, I must say!

There’s a big organised crime ring in the UK, mostly dealing with Bitcoin and financial scams. Lately, even the telemarketers and spammers are getting sneaky, using FAX numbers to reach out to folks. It’s pretty worrying how widespread it’s become.

Cryptocurrency and financial con artists have woven a vast tapestry of organised crime all across Britain. It's alarming to see that telemarketers and spammers have taken to using FAX lines to pester individuals as well.

Got a call from some place saying I’d purchased some kind of auto trading program - I’ve never even heard of it before! Feels like a total scam to me.

This chap keeps ringing me up, claiming to be Gavin Miller, and honestly, it’s becoming quite tiresome - it’s got a distinct foreign twang to it. I’ve told him to cease and desist, and eventually just hung up! Cheers, MIY LLM

I’ve been inundated with calls from this person who speaks with an accent that sounds distinctly foreign. It’s been going on for months now, and despite my repeated requests for him to knock it off, he’s grown increasingly aggressive, even threatening to peddle my number to others. Now, I’m receiving calls from places like Spain, Canada, and the US, including numbers such as +34 915 467 875, +1 (902) 905-5238, and 01233 552047. To make matters worse, he keeps ringing me from various mobile numbers in the UK as well. I’ve blocked several, yet he just finds another to ring from. It’s quite relentless!

I've been receiving relentless calls from someone with a foreign accent for what feels like ages now. No matter how many times I ask him to stop, he seems undeterred. It’s even escalated to him threatening to peddle my number, which has now resulted in a barrage of calls from abroad - I’ve noticed ones from Spain, Canada, and the USA. Here are a few of the numbers: +34 915 467 875, +1 (902) 905-5238, and 01233 552047. To make matters worse, he’s now using various UK mobile numbers, and despite my best efforts to block them, the calls just keep coming from yet another different number. It's becoming quite tiresome!

Claimed to be from the fraud investigation team of some trading platform. He was going on about a fraud investigation-made it sound all official. I couldn't help but quip, "Like you, really?" and promptly ended the call.

POTENTIAL SCAM ALERT! I've had a run-in with an individual claiming to be part of the risk management team for Finance - News Trader Support, a trading platform that the FCA has already shut down. However, they're now suggesting it will make a comeback as "EuroMarket..." Sounds very dodgy to me!
